Alexander MacKnight
MANAGING PRINCIPAL
Alex spent 9 years in emerging market banking where he managed relationships with financial institutions, sovereigns and corporate clients in Latin America. He spent 5 years at the world’s largest wealth manager where he managed holistic relationships with financial institutions in the U.S. primary selling wealth products to other institutions. Most recently, he spent 2 years at a fintech as the senior customer success manager.
Alex holds series 7, 63, 65, and 79 licenses, is fluent in Spanish, holds a B.A. in Mathematics, a B.S. in Economics with Distinction from the University of Washington, and an M.A. in Finance from Brandeis University. Alex resides in New Jersey with his wife and 4 children.
Abel Reyes
MANAGING PRINCIPAL
Abel brings more than 15 years of banking experience. Prior to starting Rimac, Abel was with Silicon Valley Bank and Pacific Western Bank, where he was focused on providing debt capital solutions to early and late stage venture-backed technology companies across various sectors. Before that, he held a variety of banking roles at Mizuho Bank and Credit Agricole CIB covering emerging markets.
Abel holds a series 65 license, is a native Spanish speaker, and holds a B.S. in Finance from Fordham University.
Outside of work, he is enthusiastic about tennis and passionate about exploring the world through travel.
